Bushcraft and Survival Training

Pete and I set off to sunny Devon for a weekend of training to get our Level 2 qualifications. As you can see, our first night's accommodation was a little basic, resulting in about 2 hours sleep!
However, we constructed our own shelter for the second night, which proved warm and cosy, and more importantly, rainproof!
We prepared and cooked pigeon, trout and rabbit, which were all very tasty, cooked over an open fire.
Lots of new skills were learned, including knife-work, trapping, foraging and alternative fire-lighting. Just need some practise now before assessment - look out, children!!
